Schubach Aviation adds Hawker 900XP to charter fleet, based at Carlsbad

Schubach Aviation announced on September 21, 2026 that it has added a Hawker 900XP to its managed charter fleet, based at its Carlsbad location and available for charter immediately. The operator had previously managed and operated a Hawker 850XP for several years, and the upgraded 900XP features improved engines that increase range, enhance fuel efficiency and improve performance in hot-and-high conditions, characteristics the company says suit destinations such as Aspen, Colorado; Scottsdale, Arizona; and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
CEO Kim Herrell said the Hawker is a popular midsized aircraft choice for both business and personal travel among clients, offering the feel of a larger jet at a more economical price, and serves as an introduction to a larger, more spacious cabin for clients moving beyond light jets. She noted the aircraft suits missions ranging from short trips to Las Vegas or Napa Wine Country to longer cross-country flights to New York City or Florida.
Herrell also said the company has exceeded its 2026 forecast and is performing ahead of expectations, adding that Schubach is focused on growing its team and employee development as its national presence expands, and sees an opportunity to grow its acquisitions business amid increased demand during peak travel season and a favourable tax environment.
