Freedom OKC Breaks Ground on New FBO at Oklahoma City Will Rogers International Airport

Freedom OKC has broken ground on a new full-service fixed-base operator facility at OKC Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City. The project comprises two build-to-suit aircraft hangars with associated operations and customer-service space, totalling approximately 59,920 square feet under roof, plus common areas and amenities, and will offer aircraft fueling, hangar services, and aircraft maintenance and repair support.
Miller-Tippens Construction Company, LLC is serving as general contractor, Rad Collaborative LLC is the project engineer, and BancFirst is providing construction financing. Site work is already underway, with the construction schedule calling for approximately 12 to 15 months of work, and Freedom OKC anticipates opening in late 2027.
"Breaking ground turns years of planning into something real, and our team could not be more excited," said Randall Honea, general manager of Freedom OKC. "We are building Freedom OKC around a simple promise: respect the customer's time and earn the customer's trust."
OKC Will Rogers International Airport operates three major runways capable of accommodating nearly any aircraft type, and Freedom OKC said the facility is intended to serve a broad range of business and general aviation customers traveling to and through Oklahoma City.
