Calabasas, California-based charter broker Amalfi Jets is waiving its standard $100,000 deposit requirement for the Amalfi One jet card, opening the offer to both current and former members of OneFlight International. The move follows Denver-based OneFlight International's announcement that it is pausing flights for 30 days.
The Amalfi One jet card features capped hourly rates, with the company stating that over 95% of trips are flown at rates below those caps. The capped rate for light jets stands at $7,500 per hour; last year, the average price paid was $6,970, a 7% saving. At the upper end, ultra-long-haul jet rates averaged $12,938 per hour, 22% below the $16,500 per hour capped rate.
President of Sales Brian Francis said the company empathizes with affected OneFlight members, describing the situation as a recurring pattern in the industry. Founder and CEO Kolin Jones said the company does not rely on "unreasonable bonuses and financially questionable promotions," pointing to consistent client growth as evidence of the program's success. Amalfi Jets has built a following of 2.9 million on TikTok.
