Bombardier is hiring a Professional Senior Engineer specializing in Structural and Systems Installation Design to support production operations on its Global platform aircraft, including the Global 5500, 6500, and 8000, at its Mississauga facility and other production sites.
The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in airframe primary and secondary structural design, including systems installations. Candidates must be proficient in CATIA V5 design and modeling software and have strong knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation design, materials, manufacturing processes, and civil aircraft certification rules. Responsibilities include providing engineering solutions for airframe and systems installation issues, performing mechanical design using CATIA V5, producing and updating interface, detail, and installation drawings, and collaborating with internal and external suppliers across disciplines such as Stress, Materials and Processes, Systems, Flight Science, Design, Methods, Quality, and Operations.
The base salary for the position ranges from CAD $77,000 to $127,000 per year, with the exact figure determined at Bombardier's discretion based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. A virtual hiring event is scheduled for June 17, 2026, with virtual sessions from 8 AM to 3 PM and on-site interviews from 4 PM to 7 PM.
