Brussels Airport Business-Jet Movements Average 39.1 Daily in First 21 Days of September, Up from 24.1 in August

Business-jet flight-activity records show that EBBR recorded 747 movements in August 2026 and 822 movements in the first 21 days of September 2026, with daily averages rising from 24.1 to 39.1, pointing to stronger traffic through 21 September.
For the full period from 1 June to 21 September 2026, EBBR logged 3,746 business-jet movements in total — 1,862 departures and 1,884 arrivals. June recorded 553 departures and 572 arrivals for 1,125 movements; July recorded 527 departures and 525 arrivals for 1,052 movements; August recorded 373 departures and 374 arrivals for 747 movements; and 1–21 September recorded 409 departures and 413 arrivals for 822 movements.
No structural changes to business-aviation apron capacity or FBO capabilities at EBBR account for the rise in daily averages. An environmental permit attached to Brussels Airport that carried strict operating restrictions was revoked in July 2025, meaning those restrictions no longer apply as current rules.
