Dassault Falcon Service Mérignac Marks Ten Years of Operations with 600 Maintenance Projects Completed

Dassault Falcon Service's Mérignac facility has marked its tenth anniversary since opening in 2016, having completed 600 maintenance projects over the decade, including 66 C-Checks for Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft, each of which prepares those jets for another eight years of operations.
The six-bay facility employs 70 staff and handles structural repairs requiring engineering involvement, EASy IV avionics upgrades, and STC Solutions including Starlink in-flight connectivity installation, while offering cabin interior retrofits and other upgrades together with local partners.
Originally focused on Falcon 7X and 8X maintenance, DFS-Mérignac later expanded to cover the Falcon 2000 EASy and 900 EASy families, recently added capacity for 12- and 24-month inspections on the Falcon 6X, and will eventually service the Falcon 10X. Jean Kayanakis, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Falcon Customer Service & Service Center Network, said Mérignac has become an important part of the global support network, combining access to Dassault engineering resources with needed maintenance capabilities, and that its expansion reflects both the growth of the long-range Falcon fleet and a long-term commitment to supporting customers.
Beyond onsite services, DFS-Mérignac provides technical backup to Dassault's worldwide network of 60 factory-owned and authorized service centers, and can dispatch personnel for technical assistance or AOG GoTeam support at remote locations.
