XCF Global Agrees to Acquire Renewable Fuel Facility in Paramount, California, Near LAX
Why It MattersA US sustainable aviation fuel producer securing a plant near a major airport links fuel supply to Los Angeles, a heavy business-jet market, and underscores consolidation in West Coast renewable fuel capacity.
XCF Global, a U.S.-based producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), announced a definitive agreement to acquire a renewable fuel production facility in Paramount, California, through a newly formed subsidiary, New Rise Renewables Paramount, LLC. The facility sits less than 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles and near Los Angeles International Airport, which serves more than 76 million passengers annually. Paramount was the first U.S. refinery conversion from fossil fuels to renewable fuels.

XCF intends to retain the existing team after closing and plans to more than double its size to restart operations over the next 9 to 12 months, investing approximately $30 million during the restart period, primarily for workforce training and operational readiness. The company plans to use its strategic partnership with BGN to supply feedstock and to offtake the fuels for its aviation and transportation customers. Chief Executive Officer Chris Cooper said the acquisition expands XCF's vertically integrated alternative fuel platform.
The transaction is expected to close before the end of 2026, subject to agreed closing conditions. XCF's flagship facility, New Rise Renewables Reno, has a permitted nameplate capacity of up to 38 million gallons per year, and the company trades on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol SAFX.
