US Register Lists About 19,000 Business Aircraft Across 52 Types; Pilatus PC-12 Leads on Certificates Issued
Why It MattersCertificate issuance counts serve as a proxy for resale and ownership churn, and the PC-12's lead points to a turboprop segment that changes hands as actively as the jet types.
MeghQuasar has published a breakdown of the US business aircraft fleet by model, covering roughly 19,000 business jets, turboprops and turbine helicopters across 52 types on the US register. For each type, the table gives the number on the register, the years built, and the number of registration certificates issued in the last 12 months.

The Pilatus PC-12 was the most active type, with 271 certificates issued. The page shows totals only; no individual aircraft, registration or owner is identified. The data come from the FAA Aircraft Registry releasable database, file of 8 October 2026.
