Why It MattersThe two largest Gulf markets are scaling business aviation at different speeds, with the UAE's growth running well ahead of Saudi Arabia's and widening the gap in regional premium-travel demand.
Private jet departures from the UAE have more than doubled in five years, while Saudi Arabia is expanding its business aviation sector as wealth creation and investment reshape the Middle East's premium travel market.

According to Honeywell Aerospace's 2026 Global Business Aviation Outlook, the UAE recorded 5,475 business-jet departures, an increase of 102 per cent over five years, while Saudi Arabia registered 3,727 departures, an increase of 42 per cent.
