Phillips 66 Aviation to Showcase Fuel, Sustainability and FBO Network at 2026 NBAA-BACE Booth #1608

Why It MattersFuel suppliers are using convention floors to pair branded-FBO distribution with sustainability messaging, suggesting SAF access and reporting support are becoming part of how fuel networks compete for business aviation customers.

What happened

Phillips 66 Aviation will exhibit at the 2026 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) at booth #1608. The company says it brings nearly 100 years of industry experience and will present its work across fuel supply, sustainability solutions, quality control, contract fuel and its branded FBO network, which it describes as the largest FBO network in the country.

Four FBOs from that network will exhibit at the booth: Business Jet, DuPage Flight Center, Texas Jet and Westjet Air Center. Jennifer Claunch, Manager, Aviation Sales at Phillips 66, said the company will mark 100 years in aviation in 2027 and plans to recognize the people and progress that shaped its history.

The booth will run an interactive preflight inspection experience. Attendees complete a checklist covering each area of the business, are then "Cleared for Go" and spin a roulette wheel for a chance to win a branded T-shirt or a tech organizer. Daily drawings are set for Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. (Apple AirPods) and Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. (Apple Watch), with the grand prize, an Apple MacBook, drawn Thursday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m.

A session will examine sustainability issues in business aviation, including emissions reduction, reporting expectations, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and emerging regulatory requirements. Lopez, who has more than 25 years of energy industry experience, will give the fuel refiner and supplier perspective on SAF production, supply chain considerations and evolving demand, and said the focus is on advancing solutions available today and making them more accessible and actionable for the industry.

Phillips 66 Aviation will also continue its support of Corporate Angel Network (CAN), a nonprofit that arranges free transportation for cancer patients by matching them with available seats on business aircraft. The 16th annual check presentation takes place Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Phillips 66 Aviation booth, with representatives of CAN and Phillips 66 Aviation attending.

Industry impact & what to watch

A fuel supplier that exhibits alongside its own branded FBOs is selling a chain rather than a single product: supply, quality control, contract fuel and the ramp-side service point are presented as one offer. For flight departments and operators, fuel purchasing and FBO choice are often decided together, so a supplier with an owned or branded network can tie the two decisions to one relationship.

The sustainability session reflects where fuel-supply conversations in business aviation have moved. Emissions reduction, reporting expectations and SAF supply are now discussed together, and the refiner's view of production and supply chain constraints is a necessary counterpart to demand-side commitments from operators. How quickly SAF becomes an ordinary line item at the pump depends on that supply side as much as on customer appetite.

The next dated milestones are the convention days themselves, with the Corporate Angel Network check presentation on Oct. 20 and the grand prize drawing on Oct. 22. The company's 100th year in aviation in 2027 is the longer-range marker it has said it intends to use for recognizing its history.
