Hayward & Green and NHV Group sign exclusive consignment agreement for helicopter parts
Why It MattersThe deal shows operators increasingly outsourcing rotable-parts distribution to specialist consignment partners so aircraft owners can monetize inventory without building their own sales networks.
What happened
U.K.-based Hayward & Green has entered into an exclusive consignment agreement with Belgium's NHV Group, giving Hayward & Green access to NHV's new and serviceable helicopter components for distribution to operators worldwide. The agreement covers parts for the Airbus AS365, AS332, and MD900 helicopter types.

Hayward & Green already holds what it describes as a "world-beating" inventory of Leonardo AW109 and AW101 parts. Jeremy Green, CEO of Hayward & Green, said the partnership "leverages our excellent sales reach, expertise in rotable components and unbeatable customer service to bring NHV's considerable inventory to the widest possible market." Elio Sicheri, rotary program manager at Hayward & Green, said the company is "delighted that NHV have appointed us as their exclusive consignment partner" and looks forward to "working closely together to support global helicopter operators."
Lars-Henrik Thorngreen, CEO of NHV, said the agreement "exemplifies the group's approach to asset management," adding that Hayward & Green's "specialist expertise and international reach make them a strong partner to bring our inventory to operators around the world," and that NHV sees "good potential to expand our cooperation in the future."
Industry impact & what to watch
Consignment arrangements like this one let an aircraft operator turn idle rotable inventory into a revenue stream without setting up its own sales and distribution network, while giving the distributor a broader parts catalogue to offer without buying that stock outright. NHV's own framing of the deal as part of managing its assets "smarter" points to why operators pursue these tie-ups: parts sitting in a warehouse only generate value once they reach a buyer, and an exclusive partner with existing customer relationships closes that gap faster than a direct sales effort would.
For Hayward & Green, adding AS365, AS332, and MD900 coverage alongside its existing AW109 and AW101 position broadens the range of helicopter types it can serve from a single relationship, which matters to operators who want one parts source across a mixed fleet rather than separate deals per type.
Both companies flagged room to expand the cooperation further, so the next indicator will be whether additional aircraft types or services are added to the agreement, and whether other operators pursue similar consignment deals with specialist distributors.
