Figurr Architects Collective Partners with Aureum Mobility on Canadian Vertiport Infrastructure
Why It MattersThe deal signals growing convergence between architecture firms and Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure providers as Canada builds out vertiport networks ahead of commercial drone and eVTOL operations.
Figurr Architects Collective has announced a partnership with Aureum Mobility, an Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure company specialising in drone and vertiport technology, to support the planning, design, and implementation of vertiport infrastructure across Canada. Under the agreement, Figurr will serve as Aureum's architecture and Canadian technology distribution partner, combining Aureum's modular vertiport and droneport systems, charging technology, and operational solutions with Figurr's experience designing aviation environments for airlines, airports, simulator manufacturers, defence organisations, and corporate flight training providers.

Services offered through the partnership include vertiport feasibility studies, site selection, master planning, architectural and infrastructure design, regulatory and permitting support, and integration with airports and urban developments. Aureum Mobility's systems are designed to be compatible across different aircraft manufacturers and operational requirements, ranging from rural drone operations to urban passenger networks.
JR Hammond, Executive Director of Canadian Advanced Air Mobility (CAAM), welcomed the partnership, saying Canada's Advanced Air Mobility future depends on turning bold innovation into safe, inclusive, and operationally ready infrastructure, and that CAAM is eager to see the expertise of Figurr and Aureum help expedite solving the infrastructure challenges facing commercial operations in Canada.
