The market is projected to expand at a 19.9% CAGR between 2026 and 2036, reaching USD 93.1 million by 2036, an incremental opportunity of USD 77.9 million over the period.

Cabin lighting is increasingly treated as a certification and safety requirement rather than a passenger-comfort add-on as eVTOL developers move from prototypes toward regulatory approval and commercial operations. Diehl Aviation highlighted cabin and cockpit lighting as part of its interior work for Eve's eVTOL aircraft, designed to carry four passengers and one pilot with a range of up to 100 kilometres. Supernal said lighting transitions in its S-A2 aircraft help passengers understand where to enter and exit, framing lighting as part of passenger wayfinding. The FAA established a powered-lift regulatory framework in October 2024, and Dubai announced plans for four initial vertiports targeting a 10-minute journey between Dubai International Airport and Palm Jumeirah.
LED modules are expected to lead lighting technology demand with a 72.0% share in 2026, and line-fit installation is forecast to account for 68.0% of fit-type demand. Piloted eVTOL configurations are projected to hold a 58.0% share in 2026, cabin ceiling systems a 36.0% share of lighting-location demand, and passenger air-taxi end-use a 51% share. India is projected to record a 24.4% CAGR through 2036, the fastest among profiled country markets, while the UAE is projected to expand at a 23.7% CAGR.
