Security Aviation August Flights Drop 20.6% from July Despite Active Registrations Recovering to Seven

Business-jet flight-activity records show Security Aviation completed 235 flights in August 2026, down 20.6% from 296 flights in July, even as the number of active registrations recovered from six to seven.
The operator recorded 278 flights across seven active registrations in June, 296 flights across six active registrations in July, and 235 flights across seven active registrations in August, for a three-month total of 809 flights, averaging approximately 270 per month.
Although August had one more active registration than July, average monthly flights per active registration fell from approximately 49.3 in July to approximately 33.6 in August, indicating the month's operational pressure showed up mainly in reduced utilisation per aircraft rather than a smaller active fleet.
Figures are compiled on an operator basis, with each complete business-jet flight counted once rather than split into departure and arrival movements, and active registration counts reflect deduplicated registrations recording at least one flight per month. The data cut-off is 14 September 2026, with all three months representing complete calendar months.
