The NBAA YoPro Council will host a 'Helpy Hour' reception at NBAA-BACE 2026, where attendees will assemble aviation-themed teddy bear kits to be donated to Corporate Angel Network (CAN), a nonprofit that arranges free travel on business aircraft for cancer patients seeking treatment. This year's reception is sponsored by Flight Bridge and Vertical Aviation International, under the theme 'Leading From Any Seat,' reflecting the idea that leadership can emerge from any role, career stage, or corner of the business aviation community.
Courtney Easton, vice president of strategy, programs and outreach at CAN, said the cancer patients traveling significant distances for care are reminded they're being thought of through the kits. Elayna Hall, NBAA Manager of Professional Development and co-staff liaison to the YoPro Council, noted the reception has grown beyond a young professional event to one drawing participants across all generations and career levels, while Ashley Granada, NBAA senior marketing manager and YoPro Council co-staff liaison, described the 'Helpy Hour' as leadership in action.
NBAA-BACE 2026 is scheduled for October 20–22, with the NBAA YoPro Council dedicated to uniting and empowering emerging leaders in the business aviation industry.
