Around 30 of the world's most prominent technology industry figures have begun arriving in Ayrshire, Scotland, for an exclusive artificial intelligence summit hosted by King Charles III at the Dumfries House estate. Private jets were spotted landing at Prestwick Airport ahead of the gathering, which is being organised by the Ditchley Foundation.

Among those reported to be attending are Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang, Google DeepMind founder Demis Hassabis, and Paolo Benanti, an AI adviser to the Vatican. UK Government ministers have also been invited.
