Travel Curation Launches Private Travel Management Model to Give Complex Journeys a Single Owner

Why It MattersThe move highlights a widening market for coordination-layer services sitting above fragmented aviation, household and concierge providers rather than replacing any single one of them.

What happened

Travel Curation, a California-based travel company founded by Lindsey Levak, has launched a Private Travel Management model aimed at high-net-worth principals, households, and private teams. The model is designed to place a single accountable owner over a client's entire travel operation, rather than leaving it split across the many people who typically touch it.

Travel Curation Launches Private Travel Management Model for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Clients

Levak has worked more than 16 years in celebrity, ultra-high-net-worth, and private-client travel, including fashion weeks, film and production travel, yacht coordination, and VVIP travel. In private aviation she has coordinated travel across fractional programs such as NetJets, charter brokers, and privately owned aircraft, factoring in aircraft type, runway length, and FBO access when planning trips. Travel Curation states it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any aircraft program or operator.

Levak identified a gap in how complex households manage travel: executive assistants, chiefs of staff, family offices, travel advisors, aviation providers, security teams, and outside vendors each handle their own piece, with no single person responsible for the whole operating picture. The Private Travel Management model is structured to flex around how a family actually travels — some clients need continual oversight, others need senior-level ownership only during high-complexity periods such as festive travel, film production, major events, or seasonal residence transitions. Existing client relationships with aviation desks, specialist advisors, household teams, or security providers are preserved under the model, and booking and agency functions can be incorporated where no such relationships already exist. The company remains founder-led, with Levak as the senior point of accountability for each engagement, and capacity is deliberately limited. Travel Curation is based in Playa del Rey, California.

Industry impact & what to watch

This launch belongs to a broader shift in how wealthy households source support: a research study conducted by Ocorian, carried out by PureProfile in February among 200 family members and senior employees at family offices across 16 countries and territories collectively managing $119.37 billion in wealth, found that 77% expect to increase their use of outsourced support across key services over the next three years, and 70% plan to increase use of extended family services such as concierge support.

Travel Curation's model sits above rather than inside the existing aviation and household supply chain — it does not replace fractional programs, charter brokers, or family offices, but adds a coordination layer that is accountable for how those pieces fit together across a trip or a season. That positioning depends on preserving rather than disintermediating existing vendor relationships, which is how the model is structured to operate.

What will determine whether this approach scales is whether a founder-led, capacity-limited structure can serve more than a small number of households at once, since Levak herself remains the single point of accountability for each engagement.
