GA Telesis Acquires Three More Airbus A320neo Airframes, With Two More Expected by End of 2026
Why It MattersEarly A320neo teardowns point to aftermarket parts supply being built well ahead of conventional retirement timelines as lessors and airlines contend with component shortages and long maintenance turnaround times.
GA Telesis, a global provider of integrated aviation and aerospace services, announced on October 13, 2026 that it has acquired three additional Airbus A320neo (LEAP-1A) airframes. Two more A320neo aircraft are expected to be added before the end of 2026, which would bring the company's portfolio expansion to five aircraft this year.

The company said the acquisitions reinforce its position as a provider of A320neo used serviceable material (USM). The newly acquired aircraft are among the earliest A320neo airframes to enter the aftermarket for disassembly, and they include LEAP-1A engine nacelles and landing gear. GA Telesis said the strategy aims to build aftermarket supply ahead of the conventional retirement cycle, in response to demand for serviceable components as airlines face supply chain constraints, extended maintenance turnaround times and a growing global A320neo fleet. It can provide aftermarket support for both engine platforms powering the A320neo family: the CFM International LEAP-1A and the Pratt & Whitney PW1100 Geared Turbofan.
Jim Sokol, President of GA Telesis' Flight Solutions Group, said the company identifies where the market is going and invests ahead of demand, and that adding five A320neo aircraft to its existing neo portfolio this year creates access to next-generation material well before the traditional retirement cycle would make it available. Through its Flight Solutions Group, GA Telesis provides airlines, lessors and MRO organizations with component solutions, inventory management, distribution and lifecycle support, and describes its GA Telesis Ecosystem as a global network spanning 54 locations in 30 countries across six continents.
