Bombardier Names 36 Suppliers as 2025 Supplier Recognition Program Winners at Montreal Ceremony

Why It MattersFormal supplier scorecards across production, indirect goods and aftermarket segments show how OEMs increasingly tie recognition and continued business to measurable quality, sustainability and partnership performance rather than price alone.

What happened

Bombardier presented its 2025 Supplier Recognition Program Awards during a ceremony in Montreal on September 21, 2026, recognising 36 suppliers across four categories. The categories were the Diamond Award, the Environmental Sustainability Award, the Quality Award, and the Outstanding Partnership Award.

The Diamond Award, given to 33 recipients, recognises outstanding operational performance, commitment to continuous improvement, and adherence to high-quality standards, with suppliers evaluated across three segments: Production, Indirect Goods and Services, and Aftermarket. Among the recipients were Rolls-Royce Business Aviation, Customers and Services Division, and Plastiques Flexibülb. Thales Canada, Avionics received the Environmental Sustainability Award for leadership in sustainability practices and sustainable innovation. Plastiques Flexibülb also received the Quality Award, recognising delivery of high-quality products, defect prevention, and promotion of a quality policy throughout an organisation and its sub-tiers. RAMM Aerospace received the Outstanding Partnership Award, honouring alliance, collaboration, and exceptional customer support.

Eric Filion, Executive Vice President, Programs, Procurement, Engineering Support and Product Innovation at Bombardier, said: "The strength of Bombardier's supply chain is built on trusted collaborations with suppliers who consistently deliver on quality, reliability and innovation." David Murray, Executive Vice President, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Execution and Bombardier Operational Excellence System, added: "The future of our industry will be shaped by how effectively we collaborate across the supply chain."

Industry impact & what to watch

Annual supplier recognition programs like this one are a recurring feature of how large aircraft manufacturers manage extended supply chains, using formal categories and named awards to signal which partners meet performance thresholds across production, aftermarket and indirect goods and services. Evaluating 33 Diamond Award recipients across three distinct segments points to a scorecard-based approach where operational performance, continuous improvement and quality adherence are tracked systematically rather than assessed informally.

The separate Environmental Sustainability and Quality awards, going to Thales Canada, Avionics and Plastiques Flexibülb respectively, indicate that Bombardier is treating sustainability practices and defect prevention as distinct criteria worth singling out beyond general operational performance. Whether these recognitions translate into expanded sourcing volumes or longer-term contracts for the named suppliers is not addressed, and the next indicator to watch would be any future program cycle or supplier disclosure that references continued or expanded Bombardier business.
