NetJets to Build Dedicated Customer Terminal at Dulles International Airport
Why It MattersA dedicated terminal at a top-five destination shows fractional operators moving beyond shared FBO space toward owning the ground experience at their highest-traffic airports.
NetJets, which gives customers access to private jets without requiring them to own one, has announced plans to open a new terminal at Dulles International Airport in Virginia. The company will convert two floors of the existing Signature Aviation facility on the Dulles Airport campus into a space of more than 14,000 square feet for its customers. Work on the project is expected to begin in 2027.

According to NetJets, Dulles is consistently among its travelers' top five destinations. The company offers access to a fleet of private aircraft through two programs: buying or leasing shares of private jets, or buying prepaid use time. Both provide flying time in 25-hour increments, with some options promising jets on a few hours' notice and others within days. NetJets says it operates more than 50 locations worldwide.
