Kyrgyzstan Hosts First Business Aviation Summit at Karakol Airport

Karakol International Airport in Kyrgyzstan hosted the country's first Business Aviation Summit, bringing together representatives from the international aviation sector, aircraft manufacturing companies and related services industries. Discussions covered the development of business aviation in Kyrgyzstan, international cooperation, airport infrastructure, expansion of air routes, and the tourism and investment potential of the Karakol and Issyk-Kul area.
An aircraft exhibition on the airport tarmac featured various business jets and helicopters, including a COMAC aircraft configured for medical flights, and the De Havilland Dash 8-400 operated by Asman Airlines.
Aman Mamaev, commercial director of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," described the summit as an important step in developing the country's aviation industry and strengthening international ties, with organisers emphasising Karakol's potential as both a tourist destination and a business aviation centre.
