NBAA-BACE to Gather Business Aviation World in Las Vegas, Featuring SyberJet SJ36 Reveal and Expanded Programs

NBAA-BACE is coming to Las Vegas under the theme "Be Bold – Take the Controls," bringing thousands of business aviation professionals together for three days of education, networking and aircraft displays. NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen will host the launch event on Tuesday, Oct. 20, on the Horizon Stage, a new venue at the center of the exhibit floor that will serve as the convention's main stage for headline speakers and recognition programs. The launch event includes presentation of NBAA's Meritorious Service to Aviation Award to Steven F. Udvar-Hazy and a live interview with Ross Perot Jr., a previous recipient of the same award, plus an expanded Flying Safety Awards presentation hosted by Stephanie Goetz, president and pilot of The Pink Jet.
The NBAA-BACE Flight Deck will return with discussions involving government officials, journalists, influencers and industry leaders on technology, regulation, safety and workforce topics. More than 75 education sessions across 12 dedicated tracks will cover operations, safety, tax policy, technology and workforce development, and maintenance professionals will have access to an expanded three-day MRO track addressing capacity, ground risk, fleet availability, asset longevity, OEM technical teams and the new IADA/NBAA Pre-Owned Aircraft resource. Gulfstream Aerospace will host an invitation-only Gulfstream Operators Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 21, with technical sessions, program updates and maintenance masterclasses.
On Oct. 19, SyberJet is scheduled to unveil a full-scale mockup of its SJ36 business jet at HND. The SJ36 is a nine-passenger stretch design of SyberJet's SJ30, which recently set an unofficial light-jet east-to-west transcontinental speed record; the SJ36 features larger engines, breakthrough aerodynamics, and a proprietary glass cockpit avionics and flight management ecosystem, with a projected top speed of Mach 0.88. The NBAA-BACE Aircraft Connection at HND will let attendees compare business jets, piston aircraft, turboprops and helicopters, with Cirrus Aircraft and Robinson Helicopters among the participants. For the first time, NBAA-BACE will provide dedicated exhibit-floor time immediately following Tuesday's Opening Session, with no competing external programming or education sessions until early afternoon. The enhanced Career Zone will offer one-on-one coaching, résumé and scholarship audits, LinkedIn guidance, professional headshots and hiring workshops, and attendees will be able to meet the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 class. NBAA-BACE Military Connect will assist veterans and transitioning service members entering business aviation careers, Collegiate Connect will introduce students to employers, and the Creator Studio, powered by Signature Aviation, will return as a workspace for podcasters and digital content producers. "NBAA-BACE is critical to our industry," said Curtis Lamp, customer service manager at Rolls-Royce, "because it brings all of those that are passionate about business aviation together under one roof."
