La Compagnie to Launch All-Business-Class Düsseldorf–Newark Nonstop from April 2027
Why It MattersThe launch signals continued expansion of premium all-business transatlantic niche carriers into secondary European gateways beyond traditional hubs like Paris and London.
French boutique carrier La Compagnie will begin nonstop flights between Düsseldorf (DUS) and New York–Newark (EWR) on 21 April 2027, marking Düsseldorf as its first German destination and fourth European gateway after Paris, Milan and Nice. The service will operate five times weekly — Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays — aboard a factory-new Airbus A321neo LR configured exclusively with up to 76 business-class seats in a 2-2 layout, all converting to fully flat beds.

Flight B0 400 departs Düsseldorf at 12:00 and arrives in Newark at 14:35 local time, a block time of 8 hours 35 minutes. The return, flight B0 401, leaves Newark at 21:00 and lands in Düsseldorf at 10:20 the following morning, a planned duration of approximately 7 hours 20 minutes. The aircraft assigned to the route is scheduled for delivery from Airbus's Hamburg-Finkenwerder facility in March 2027, shortly before service launch.
Every fare includes high-speed Wi-Fi, personal in-seat entertainment, lounge access at both ends, and two checked bags, with onboard dining featuring multi-course meals developed with noted chefs, paired with French wines and Champagne. At Düsseldorf, passengers will use the DUS Sky Lounge in Concourse C, while at Newark the airline operates its own Lounge & Co facility. Tickets are already on sale through the airline's website and distribution partners.
