NetJets Opens 300,000 sq ft Private Aviation Campus With Exclusive Terminal at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport

Why It MattersFractional providers are moving from shared FBO space toward purpose-built, exclusive-use ground infrastructure, tying service quality and fleet operations to terminals and hangars they control at key destinations.

What happened

NetJets has opened a 300,000 sq ft (27,871 sq m) private aviation campus at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. It was developed in partnership with Signature Aviation and is the first ground-up construction project the two companies have delivered together.

The campus includes a 17,069 sq ft (1,586 sq m) private terminal reserved exclusively for NetJets customers, two hangars and more than 250,000 sq ft (23,226 sq m) of preferred ramp space. One hangar supports NetJets fleet operations; the second serves both NetJets and Executive Jet Management. A maintenance hub and an on-site catering kitchen complete the site.

Patrick Gallagher, president of NetJets Aviation, said that as demand continues to grow, NetJets must ensure its owners have reliable access, greater privacy and the highly personalized service they expect in a space designed specifically for them. Tony Lefebvre, CEO of Signature Aviation, said the two companies were proud to open a luxury facility focused on seamless operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Las Vegas sits within a wider NetJets infrastructure expansion. Exclusive-use terminal projects are also under way at Dallas Love Field, Washington Dulles and Rifle Garfield County Airport in Colorado, alongside an upgraded facility at West Palm Beach. Signature Aviation is involved in the Dallas, Dulles and Palm Beach projects, while the Rifle facility is being developed with Vantage Aviation.

Industry impact & what to watch

Fractional and managed-fleet providers have traditionally relied on third-party FBOs for their ground experience, which leaves privacy, ramp access and turnaround times partly in someone else's hands. A terminal restricted to one operator's customers, paired with its own hangar and maintenance space, shifts that control in-house. The Las Vegas campus is a concrete example of that model, and the list of other exclusive-use projects shows it is being repeated across several airports rather than trialled once.

The partnership structure matters as much as the buildings. Signature Aviation is a co-developer on most of these sites, while Vantage Aviation fills that role in Rifle, so the FBO networks are acting as development partners for a customer that wants dedicated space, not only as landlords selling shared services. For competing fractional and charter operators, the practical question at any airport is how much dedicated ramp and hangar capacity remains available to them once a large operator secures preferred space.

The next milestones are the Dallas Love Field, Washington Dulles and Rifle openings, which will show whether this campus format carries over to airports with different footprints and partners.
