Gözen Digital Aviation's Simorg Platform to Run Training Management at AeronautX's New Amsterdam Centre
Why It MattersTraining providers are treating scheduling and progress-tracking software as part of the customer offer from opening day, so platform choice is becoming a competitive feature of new centres.
What happened
Gözen Digital Aviation said it will integrate its Simorg training management platform into AeronautX's new business aviation training centre in Amsterdam. The centre is due to open in the first quarter of 2027.

Simorg will handle the training journey end to end, from course bookings and scheduling to progress tracking and operational coordination, all within a single platform.
AeronautX said the aim is to give customers more flexibility, transparency and control from day one. Jörg Oberhofer, founder and CEO of AeronautX, said the goal was to make the training experience as seamless and straightforward as possible.
Industry impact & what to watch
A training centre that wires booking, scheduling and progress tracking into one platform before it opens is treating the software as part of the product it sells. In business aviation training, the customer is often a flight department or an individual crew member juggling recurrent-training windows around flying commitments, so how easily a course can be booked and followed matters alongside simulator availability.
For platform vendors, a launch-day deployment at a new facility is a cleaner reference than a retrofit at an established school, since there is no legacy system to migrate. It also gives the vendor a single operating environment in which to show its coordination features.
The next milestone is the centre's opening in the first quarter of 2027, when the platform will first be used by actual customers.
