Portuguese ACMI and charter carrier euroAtlantic Airways (EAA) announced on 2 September 2026 that it has inducted a new Airbus A330-300 into its fleet. The aircraft, roughly 15 years old, departed Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and arrived at Beja, Portugal (BYJ) on 17 August 2026, and is to be registered as CS-TGI pending regulatory approval. It is configured in a three-class layout with Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins totaling 290 passengers, featuring full lie-flat Business seating and personal in-seat entertainment monitors throughout.
The aircraft was placed with EAA by Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), a global commercial aircraft lessor. JSA CEO Kevin McDonald said the A330's economics, operational flexibility and reliability made it well suited to EAA's global ACMI and charter network. EAA CEO Pauls Calitis said the addition reflects the continued growth of the airline's Airbus operation and its commitment to offering a versatile ACMI and charter solution, and thanked Jackson Square Aviation for its partnership in the transaction.
EAA currently operates for LOT Polish Airlines on its daily New York–Warsaw route and for Azul on routes linking Lisbon to Campinas, Porto to Recife, and Madrid, also serving government entities and operating regular weekly routes to São Tomé and Bissau. Headquartered in Carnaxide and based at Lisbon Airport, EAA is a portfolio company of Njord Partners and has served 727 airports in 167 countries over 33 years of operations, with further fleet additions expected in the coming months.
