Cirrus Aviation Services Partners with Stella Jets on Two Challenger 850 Aircraft
Why It MattersThe tie-up shows charter operators pairing private member clubs to seed by-the-seat networks on larger jets, spreading utilization risk across partner memberships rather than a single fleet.
What happened
Cirrus Aviation Services has formed a partnership with Stella Jets covering two Bombardier CL850 (Challenger 850) aircraft. Under the arrangement, Cirrus Aviation Services' private member club Theos will partner with Stella Jets' member club Stella ShAire to develop by-the-seat routes, allowing members of both clubs to reserve individual seats on those two aircraft.

The partnership builds on Cirrus Aviation Services' expansion into Dallas Love Field, which took place in September 2025. The company holds a Part 135 certificate covering a fleet of 24 aircraft, which includes a Challenger 800 (CRJ100) and five Challenger 850s.
Industry impact & what to watch
This arrangement belongs to a broader move among charter operators to link private member clubs across companies rather than build by-the-seat capacity alone. By pairing Theos with Stella ShAire, Cirrus Aviation Services and Stella Jets can offer members access to seats on the two Challenger 850s without either club needing to fill the aircraft solely from its own membership base.
By-the-seat models depend on aggregating enough demand across a member base to keep utilization steady on specific tail numbers; cross-club partnerships are one way to widen that demand pool without adding aircraft. Cirrus Aviation Services' recent move into Dallas Love Field and its existing five-strong Challenger 850 fleet under its Part 135 certificate give it a base from which to route this new capacity.
What remains to be seen is which routes Theos and Stella ShAire actually stand up on these two aircraft, and how quickly seat reservations materialize for members of both clubs.
