Police Slow Traffic at Donald J. Trump International Airport During Suspicious Phone Call Investigation; Roadways Reopen After One Hour
Why It MattersA short precautionary roadway restriction at a major Florida gateway for private aviation shows how security responses can briefly disrupt ground access without halting flight operations.
A heavy law enforcement presence caused brief delays for travelers heading to President Donald J. Trump International Airport on Sunday afternoon. According to airport officials, law enforcement was investigating a suspicious phone call. As a precaution, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office slowed traffic entering the terminal and redirected vehicles in the area.

About one hour after the initial announcement, the airport posted on Facebook that roadways to the terminal had reopened and that airport operations had returned to normal. Officials reminded the public to report anything suspicious.
