Why It MattersAircraft sales and brokerage arms increasingly align with finance-industry associations to embed transaction professionals directly into the lender and appraiser networks that underpin aircraft deals.

The membership is led by Tyler Bowron, Million Air's director of Aircraft Sales, who brings nearly 20 years of business aviation experience covering international transactions, imports and exports, and off-market sourcing. Bowron has previously held NAFA membership through other firms and said sustaining those professional relationships remained a priority in his current role. "NAFA has been an important part of my professional network for years," Bowron said. "Joining through Million Air Craft Sales and Acquisitions allows me to continue those relationships and gives our team the opportunity to work closely with the finance and transaction professionals who serve aircraft buyers and sellers."

NAFA president Bryan Byers welcomed the addition, saying, "We are pleased to welcome Million Air to NAFA and believe their expertise in the financial and practical aspects of buying or selling an aircraft will benefit NAFA members." Million Air Craft Sales and Acquisitions operates as part of Million Air's broader platform, which includes FBO operations across three continents as well as charter and aircraft management services. NAFA has more than 191 member companies and has served the business and general aviation finance community for over 50 years.

Industry impact & what to watch

This addition reflects a broader pattern in business aviation: sales and brokerage arms seeking formal ties to finance-industry associations rather than relying only on informal lender contacts built over individual careers. Bowron's own history of holding NAFA membership through multiple employers shows how personal professional networks often move with individuals between firms, and how organizations like NAFA function as a standing bridge between transaction teams and the lenders, appraisers and legal specialists who close aircraft deals.

For a platform like Million Air, which already spans FBO, charter and aircraft management alongside sales, embedding its sales division in NAFA's network signals an effort to tighten coordination between deal sourcing and the financing side of transactions. Whether this translates into measurable changes in deal volume or structure for Million Air Craft Sales and Acquisitions is not something this announcement itself establishes.
