USF to Host Free Seminar on Building an Integrated Advanced Air Mobility Ecosystem, October 30, 2026

The University of South Florida (USF) will host a free one-hour seminar titled "Building an Integrated Advanced Air Mobility Ecosystem" on October 30, 2026, at 12 p.m. ET, held in person at USF's Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) and online via Microsoft Teams.
The seminar will present USF research on enabling safe, efficient, resilient, and sustainable Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) as an integrated transportation ecosystem, covering AAM demand modeling and market analysis, vertiport and network planning, airspace and flight operations, system optimization, and multimodal air–ground integration. It will also introduce AAMSim, a USF-developed simulation platform for modeling passenger and aircraft operations and supporting system-level planning.
The event is part of the MOVE@USF Transportation Seminar Series and will be presented by Dr. Zhang, an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors, who holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and Southeast University in China. Registration is free and open to the public.
