The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has announced its 2026 Industry Excellence Awards, honoring two leaders of Sheltair Aviation. The late Jerry Holland, founder of Sheltair, will be posthumously awarded NATA's 2026 William A. "Bill" Ong Memorial Award, the association's highest honor. Todd Anderson, Sheltair's Chief Operating Officer, was also recognized. The awards will be presented Nov. 10 during NATA's Aviation Business Conference in Denver.

Jerry Holland founded Sheltair in 1963 and spent more than six decades building a family-owned aviation company. Under his leadership, Sheltair grew from its Florida beginnings into a nationally recognized aviation network. NATA President and CEO Curt Castagna cited Holland's vision, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to serving others in announcing the award.

NATA said Anderson's recognition reflects decades of leadership across airport management, aviation real estate and FBO operations, along with his longstanding service to the association. It also cited his ability to listen, build consensus, mentor others and turn industry ideas into action.

Lisa Holland, Jerry Holland's daughter and Sheltair's President and CEO, said seeing her father recognized with NATA's highest honor is deeply meaningful to the family and the Sheltair team, and added that the company is equally proud of Anderson. Sheltair describes itself as the nation's largest family-owned aviation network, providing FBO services and aviation real estate, and is led today by Lisa Holland.
