Hillsboro Airport is identified by the Port of Portland as Oregon's second busiest airport, with more than 25 aviation businesses operating there, ranging from charter and corporate operators to flight schools and maintenance providers. Opponents, including the Oregon Aviation Group, argue the development could increase aircraft activity and environmental impacts while negatively affecting nearby property values, while Sky Harbour's representatives contend that several objections raised during the appeal do not apply to the project.
