Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) lifted both a ground stop and a ground delay that had been issued on Thursday because of severe weather affecting the Austin area. The ground stop, which had been impacting departures to the airport, was lifted just before 4 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the ground delay at AUS resulted in flight delays of approximately 127 minutes. The delay was lifted ahead of its scheduled expiration time of 11:59 p.m.
