The Federal Aviation Administration issued a change to FAA Order 7930.2U, Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), along with its associated Briefing Guide, effective June 9, 2025. The change cancels the previous version, Order 7930.2T, which had been dated December 14, 2023.
Among the specified updates, highlines and slacklines are now listed as example obstacle types subject to the NOTAM format described in paragraph 5–2–2. FAA personnel are required to verify that a sponsor requesting such a NOTAM has completed and coordinated FAA Form 7460–1, Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration, with the OEAAA group before the NOTAM text is issued.
